Yeondoo Jung creates photo compositions from children’s drawings. Who says art can’t be fun?

Starship enterprise: the next generation- looks like we’ll need more aerospace engineers. Good thing!
The History of Visual Communication – fantastic images, but it kind of forgets about the practical side of communication.
Web 2.0 Beta Invites – in case you haven’t had your fill of social networking.
Deliberately Concealed Garments Project – I didn’t know this was a common practice at one time. Interesting what you can find in your own house.

The Trib has a useful voter guide. Put in your address (used only to generate the ballot) and see your all local candidates office by office. You can use the guide to create a sample ballot to take to the polls. With some help from Google and the voting resources I blogged before (the candidate pages at VoterInfoNet and Vote For Judges), I was able to come up with a set of candidates I think I can live with (more or less). The local candidates don’t generate the same kind of buzz as the presidential hopefuls, but there’s enough information out there to figure out what you need to know. Like there are some truly unqualified people running for judge.

Don’t remember your polling place? Want to see if you’re registered? Or just want to see who’s running? Want to vote early for some reason and don’t know where to go? Check the Cook County election resource VoterInfoNet (dot com).
I don’t know when I last saw so many domain designators in one URL.

In Illinois, we must Vote For Judges. It’s not something I’m too happy about. We get way too many unqualified ones. That said, we can try to vote for the best we can. This site features evaluations from many Illinois legal groups and bar associations.

You make the news!

This is awesome:
1. Visit any website
2. Put this in your browser (FF works best): javascript:document.body.contentEditable=’true’; document.designMode=’on’; void 0
Edit away! Ok, you can’t save it to a server, but you can take screen shots:
OK, it’s juvenile, and an old trick, but have you seen what passes for news these days?

You need to have at least some what of a clue to even make the cut, but that doesn’t stop some contestants from providing some really Stupid Game Show Answers.

Factory Balls is a fun but quick little game. Drag a ball over a tool to change its appearance to match the goal on the box. Watch the pretty ball bounce. (and that’s it).
